YEARLY DEPARTED (2021)

The Wake is We the Women’s annual fundraiser in the form of a comedic funeral for the year. A team of female-identifying comedy writers and performers eulogize things that "died” that year in a live, pop-up performance. After two in-person Wakes, We the Women sold and executive produced the adapted TV special on Amazon Prime's "Yearly Departed", which premiered in December 2020.
